My mantra in high school was that those would never be the best days of my life. Period.

Oh, High School... just interesting memories. I don't know if it was hormones or the, ahem, extracurricular activities, but it was a real roller coaster... very vivid, but like what Greg said, "the best day in my life, is just around the corner..."

oh boy - Al Bundy...
"Yeah, I used to have dreams, until I got married...now they're just broken and shattered, lying on the side of the road, in the rain, mocking me..." -
I do not feel this way, but, I see it in so many peoples eyes - the 1,000 yard stare.
The best day of his life occurred in High School? Really?...No, REALLY?
I know you know - the best day in my life, is just around the corner...

Max, that's a really great quote. I know you and I have had many discussions and people in life don't live up to their success potential... Heck even I probably am not.

Absolutely beautiful! I cannot tell you how long I lived my life in the past, before I realized I was 'stuck' in the past. Life is lived in motion, and motion is best done in forward direction. One cannot navigate the terrain by looking behind. Thanks for the reminder!
