If they used a survey, that could be the problem. Surveys, I don't think, are often very accurate.

In your same reference, in the footer this was said:
"These facts indicate that the browser figures above are not 100% realistic. Other web sites have statistics showing that Internet Explorer is used by at least 80% of the users."
It also states that IE is so popular b/c it is the only installed browser on a computer out of the box (with users purchasing Windows of course).
I would tend to agree with various sources I see, hear and read that IE is dominant, but slipping some market share. I am unclear as to whether this is simply from increased adoption from techie types, or if these techie-types are in positions of influence - thus they migrate family, friends, and their businesses over to Firefox.
